A Diploma in Medical Radiology Technology curriculum at the diploma level is called the Diploma in Radiology and Imaging Technology. It is the method and process used to produce images of the human body or its components and how they work for use in clinical procedures (medical tests intended to detect, diagnose, or investigate disease) or in the study of normal anatomy and physiology. Even while it is possible to image excised organs and tissues for medical purposes, such operations are more commonly referred to as pathology than as medical imaging.
